John Slavens leads the healthcare practice for Baker Barrios Architects. He began his career in medical building development, design and construction in 1986, with experience operating and owning two separate companies for 25 years. John’s experience exceeds 3 million square feet of medical facilities including cancer centers, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers and multi-specialty clinics. His broad range of services include project feasibility, site selection, and project financing to complete turn-key development and delivery. John has established long-term client relationships with a range of healthcare organizations and hospital systems.
