New Hires, New Faces, New Skills

J’Naya Brazil | Project Accountant

As project accountant, J’Naya Brazil brings over 15 years of accounting mastery to our firm, with 12 years of experience in Orlando’s architectural and engineering industry. With a deep well of industry, system, and program-based knowledge, she is a key asset to the Baker Barrios team.

Darick Brokaw | Director of Design Technology

Darick Brokaw is all about short-term and long-term efficiency strategies in his role as director of design technology. He brings a passion for process improvement and supportive technologies that aim to continuously better our processes.

 

Douglas Gibson | Healthcare Planner

Doug Gibson has more than 25 years of experience under his belt, designing over 1,500,000 square feet of medical, educational and office space throughout the Southeast. As healthcare planner, he provides vital technical planning and design assistance for AHCA projects and works closely with physicians to plan buildings and suites that perfectly fit their needs.

Corine Hall | Marketing Manager

With more than 18 years of professional marketing experience in the highly specific architectural, engineering and construction industries, Corine Hall is crafting and implementing strategic communications and campaigns across both digital and print platforms for our firm.

Kathryn Pankow | Business Development Manager

As business development manager, Kathryn Pankow puts her nearly 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the real estate and development industry into practice, developing long-term and fruitful relationships for our firm in the Tampa Bay area’s healthcare and education markets.

John Slavens | Principal + Healthcare

As our healthcare practice leader, John Slavens brings an invaluable wealth of industry knowledge to our firm. With a career in medical building development, design and construction that spans back to 1986, John’s experience exceeds three million square feet of medical facilities and includes a full suite of industry-related services. He continues to establish and foster important relationships with healthcare organization and hospital systems for our growing firm.

These new additions are something like a best-of-the-best list of industry professionals who we couldn’t be happier to welcome to Baker Barrios. As we said before, this first quarter of 2017 has gotten us excited for the future of our firm, and these new hires are indicative of the upward growth and improvement we all hope to see throughout 2017 and beyond.
