What if the universe is trying to get us to slow down? To stop producing. To stay home and let the Earth breathe a little without all the extra pollution we cause daily. To take a step back and realize how we really impact the earth and one another. That we aren’t as significant or in control as we think we are.

REDUCE AND REUSE

Baker Barrios has installed a water bottle filling station in the Orlando Office. Every time someone refills a bottle using the new station it reduces the use of a single-use plastic.

Single-Use Plastics

Single-use plastics, often also referred to as disposable plastics, are commonly used for plastic packaging and include items intended to be used only once before they are thrown away or recycled, creating access waste that are harmful to wildlife and our environment. These include, among other items, grocery bags, food packaging, bottles, straws, containers, cups and cutlery.

1000 and Counting

Since the installation of the water bottle filling station back in early February, Orlando has eliminated the use of over 1000, 20 oz single-use plastics and counting! Keep up the good work!
