This landmark performance venue in the Daytona Beach area is for use by local and visiting artists. The facility has an 859-seat proscenium theater, a 264-seat studio theater  and an art gallery showcasing exhibitions. The center will present a diversity of performing arts, including dramatic and musical performances, dance, recitals, chamber and orchestral concerts, and film screenings. The Daytona Beach News-Journal Center is the result of a collaborative effort involving the Lively Arts Board, the local newspaper, the City of Daytona Beach and the University of Central Florida.
